  • As a precaution against the spread of the coronavirus, we recommend the use of online payments by Card or via PayPal.
  • Our staff washes and disinfects their hands every half hour.
  • All surfaces and cooking stations are cleaned and sanitized thoroughly, including door handles and light switches.
  • We have supplemented our staff to handle the extra cleaning efforts.
  • We implement all the food industry hygiene standards such as HACCP, GHP, FAO Hygiene codex and the food storage principles.
  • We carefully respect the 4Cs of food safety: Cleaning, Cooking, Chilling and Cross-contamination.

Meet The McCormick Family

Emmet McCormick built 3 restaurants in 1981, including the location in Hutchinson. When the lease expired in 1997, he decided to take his entrepreneurial spirit into the restaurant world. As a lifetime entrepreneur, who has successfully owned and operated several other businesses, he knew his experience and passion for customer service would transfer into creating a friendly, family style restaurant serving homemade style comfort food. McCormick's family Restaurant was born and Emmet's philosophy and vision was simple: McCormick’s would be a restaurant where family and friends can gather to enjoy a unique dining experience, one that features exceptional customer service, a variety of comfort foods, all homemade with fresh ingredients and served in generous portions for a fair price and most importantly, takes care and treats all employees well. We have many employees who have been with us for over 15 years and it's their dedication and commitment that are truly behind the 20 years of success at McCormick’s Family Restaurant.
